Note: The Bare! Birthday Blowout postponed by Hurricane Sandy is on for November 29. Advance tickets purchased for the original show will be honored.

In October 2011, at Brooklyn’s Union Hall, a smutmonger named Jefferson donned ridiculous pants, opened the Bare! Pussy and hosted the first evening of Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance. In the subsequent year, Bare! has showcased dozens of stories and songs, played two festivals, spawned a queer sibling, Spill!, expanded into larger digs at The PIT and opened monthly shows in Washington, D.C.

Join New York’s sexiest audience in celebrating our first year when Bare! returns to Brooklyn for a one-night-only Birthday Blowout at The Bell House.

Each month, Bare! brings together storytellers, comedians, sex educators and others to share true tales from their own experiences of sex, desire and romance. With stories as diverse as the people telling them, Bare! opens doors to bedrooms, back seats and dungeons to tell what your mama left out about the birds, bees and in-betweens.

This month, our timely tellers recount stories about stand-out encounters that can only be described as this one time:

Hosted by Jefferson (One Life Take Two, Spill!)

Kambri Crews (Burn Down the Ground)

John Flynn (Upright Citizen’s Brigade)

Lee Harrington (Playing Well With Others)

Dan St. Germain (Bad at the Good Times)

Musical guest Killy Mockstar Dwyer

. . . and you! You have a story about this one time you found yourself in an unusual situation. Put your name in the hat for a chance to bare all on the Bare! stage.

And more! One lucky audience member will win Bare!’s sex-toy raffle, courtesy of Babeland.
